Selling in the New Year


I hope everyone is enjoying their holiday season and starting many new traditions with family and friends. 

2020 has been a rough year for many and I thank each of you that have worked with me during these trying times.

I’m looking forward to a much better 2021 for everyone and hope that you remain safe and well into the New Year. 

Looking ahead into 2021, January is actually a great time to consider listing your home!

A few things to consider when listing your home at this time of year include paying special attention to curb appeal, putting away your holiday décor right after the holidays before you list, price and market your home properly, and make renovations if they offer value. When showing your home, consider using a nice winter scent to create a cozy and warm feel during showings.

There tend to be fewer overall listings in January which can be to your benefit as a seller. In additional, January home buyers are often more motivated than non-serious shoppers that tend to browse during the warmer months.

The Summer 2021 Real Estate Market

The housing market will continue to be hot this summer. Attractive mortgage rates, vaccine distribution, and continued growth in consumer confidence will make this summer continue to be a strong environment for real estate.
